This is an evening activity at Fiona’s property in Speyside.
Using UV flashlights, we will search the garden and forest trails for caterpillars, and we will have moth lights and baited trees to attract late season moths.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight and mosquito repellent.

The part-time Executive Director of the Willow Park Ecology Centre since 2013.
A founding member with a Masters in Botany and Environmental Studies. Upon graduation from the University of Toronto, sitting on the Town Environmental Advisory Committee (TEAC) that initiated this project then continuing as a citizen of the Town while pursuing a career and raising a family.

Our Programs have become the driver of our ecology management and fulfill our vision to educate and engage people as everyone that participates in education and volunteer programs, and recreational events, learns to care for the planet that sustains us while having fun outdoors doing hands-on nature stewardship activities.
It has become a truly inspiring community success story sought out as a model of how to start, and manage a community Ecology Centre.
We will discover how the wisdom of citizens and the Town created a special project within the Town of Halton Hills 28 years ago for a place to both conserve nature and to enlighten visitors and participants.

Weeds to Broomsticks
